J’ai une passion pour les tatoos, et une grande admiration pour ces gens qui utilise leur corps en toile blanche.

D’une parce que les tatoos, ça fait mal, je sais j’en ai un sur la cheville, et 1 heures de pic pic pic ça ne fait pas du bien, et de 2 parce qu’il reste en moi une bourgeoise qui se demande quelle grand-mère je ferais avec des tatoos pleins partout sur le corps…

Mais, mmmmmmmmm, j’ai très envie de m’en faire un second. Je crois que c’est en voyant Scarlett Johansson et son petit tatou sur l’intérieur du bras que mon démon tatoué s’est réveillé. Elle a l’air si propre sur elle, cette actrice, que si elle peut arborer un tatou sur l’avant-bras, moi aussi.

Et puis en Angleterre, où je me suis fait tatouée d’ailleurs, on dit que chaque grande étape de la vie doit être marquée de son tatou. C’est en gros la pierre blanche de la peau. Et puis moi, en ce moment, j’ai vraiment l’impression de faire peau neuve, alors pourquoi ne pas en prendre une plus colorée.

Mais cette obsession pour les tatoos ne s’arrête pas là et j’ai envie de faire une collection tatou, des tees et des objets tatoués pour la vie qui déclarent fièrement leur indépendance.

Très punk en fait !

I have a passion for tattoos, but also an admiration for those people that use the whole of their body as an art piece.

First, because tattoos do hurt, and I know because I have one on my ankle, and I do remember that that 1 hour of pick pick pick was not so pleasant. And second point, there is still in me, deep down, a bourgeois asking herself what kind of a grand-ma she will be if covered in ink…

But still! I crave for a second one. I do think that my tattooed evil woke up when I so Scarlett Johansson on TV with her little tattoo on the inside of her arm. She look so neat and polite, that girl, so if she can have a tattoo here, so do I.

In the UK, where I got my 1^st tattoo, they say you should get one every time you have a big thing in your life. Nowadays, I really feel I am starting from scratch, and in French we say « change to a new skin » which could be appropriate here, especially if the new one is slightly more inked than the old one…

That obsession for tattoo also seeps into my work, and I’m preparing a tattoo collection with Tees and objects with a strong in-your-face attitude.
